License (Permit) for Home Construction.

This document grants permission to carry out work, which demonstrate that the construction project, based on the Regulation of Construction and Urban Development Program in place, to ensure orderly growth of the Municipality of Merida. This document avoids penalties for performing building work without permission.

Requirements:

1 .- Testimony of the deed (1 copy)
2 .- Five copies of the Plan or Official Plan Permit with original signature of the expert builder "PCM" (5 copies)
3 .- In case of not being the owner, written evidence of this by expressing their consent and authorization of work to do (power of attorney). (ORIGINAL). Or sign each Permit drawings.
4 .- Authorization of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) local, if Inmiebles located in the Historic Center of the City of Merida Yucatan. (1 copy).

Procedure

a. - Submit all required documents to the Urban Development departament of the City Hall.

b. - There will be a physical inspection of the property to verify compliance.

c. - The answer is delivered to the applicant within approximately 15 working days and if it is approved, you pay at the counter.

d. - If your project does not qualify, it will be returnd to you for correction and
resubmission.

e. - Once the license has been paid, you should get it within five working days.

f. - The Building Permit has a life span of 24 months.
