 Where to buy talavera tile in Merida? HI
We are in the middle of renovation and looking for some talavera Mexican roof tile, can anyone suggest a good place to buy it?

I am not sure if you are referring to talavera tile or clay roof tile, in any case I would suggest to visit Barro y Barro store, one of the most popular among the Gringos and with large selection of both types of tiles. Barro y Barro and is located on called 6 # 84 x 13 y 15 col. Felipe Carrillo Puerto

Re: Where to buy talavera tile in Merida? There is another talavera place in Centro. I forgot what it is called, but you can find it right on the corner of called 65 & 44.

Re: Where to buy talavera tile in Merida? Barro y barro is the place for talavera in Merida. But if you are allergic it cats stay away from it, lady that owns this place has about 30 of them there.

When buying tile from BaroBaro, buy only tiles they have in stock. If you place any order there it is guaranty that it will take 3 times longer to be delivered than originally promised.

Re: Where to buy talavera tile in Merida? I have to agree with you Jerry. Baro-Baro is probably best place to buy this type of products in Merida, unfortunately, since all the tiles sold there are imported from other parts of Mexico, delivery on time should be consider as a miracle.
