paint peeling after painting, advice needed
We painted our bedroom and the paint started to crack nearly immediately after. The cracks are now peeling, full thickness of the paint and lifting old paint. We never had this problem before and walls were washed before we painted it. I need advice please what to do with it.

Hi I haven’t heard of new paint lifting old paint like that, have you checked for water coming in through the roof or from the other side of the wall?

No leaks, form the roof or in plumbing pipes behind the walls.

Re: paint peeling after painting, advice needed
Hi There are number of reasons why this is happening: moisture in the wall, stucco was not completely dry before was painted first time, wall was not properly sealed before it was painted or new paint was applied over the coat of varnish or other oil pained without proper priming. The best thing to do is (if there’s o moisture in the wall): Scrape and clean loose paint off Use plaster finish coat to fix the surface Wait until it is fully dry Seal it with “Kilz” primer Paint Adam
