 Lots For Sale Outside Periferico Merida - Potential Problems
When you decide to buy a lot and build a home outside Periferico in Merida, it is important that you have a “legal street” legal access to your property. Many people in Yucatan in order to sell a large piece of land subdivide it to smaller lots, and in some cases, designating a narrow part of land between those lots as a future road. Unless this piece of land is legally converted to a street, registered, and donated to the city, legally it is not a street; it is just one more lot. And if you purchase such property without thorough investigation, you may find yourself with a legal lot and no legal access leading to it. And you will not be able to obtain building permits until you can prove that you have a legal access. When purchasing real estate, it is important to choose the right lower, and makes sure that the lawyer mention in your "colindantes” that your property is next to the legal street.

yes you are right all those issues should be cleared at first rather than having problem later on.
