Hello We need help in locating a colonial furniture store or a colonial furniture maker in Merida. Anyone have any recommendations? Places to shop? Places to visit. Thanks

 Re: Colonial furniture in Merida
We're almost done! And the newly-remodeled colonial is really starting to look great, now we are looking for good quality antique colonial style furniture, Can anyone give us some info on where to look for it in Merida? John

 Re: Colonial furniture
Hi Congratulations! now you will have to look all over Merida for your colonial furniture. There are several small antique shops scattered in Centro, there are few in San Sebastian area and there some junk yards on the south side, where you can buy colonial style used furniture and have it restored. There is a big antique yard on the periferico (west side of town km 38) where you can buy old furniture, old clocks, antique stone work as well as giant carriage wheels…. The best way is to drive around the town and look for it.
