Post Merida hand made pottery.
Hi
I am looking for a local resource for pottery at good price. I am interested in large size handmade garden pots.
Does anyone know where I can find it around Merida?

Hi Mary Jane
If you have a time, I am sure you will find the large size flower pots in Merida, people sell them on the streets, and you just have to be at the right place in the right time.
If you are in a hurry or you are looking for something specific, you should take trip to Ticul, it is a village about 1 hour drives from Merida. Ticul is famous for its pottery, and I am sure if they will not have pottery you are looking for in stock, they will make it for you.

Hi
I bought some decent and inexpensive large flower pots per recommendation from a good friend of mine at Mercado Lucas De Galvéz, calle 65, between 54 and 56, good prices, large crowds of people but interesting place to see.
There are many shops in this area of town that specialize in reduced-price merchandise including all kinds of pots.

There is a place on the corner of calle 50 and 31 in Perez Ponce. They have a big selection of large outside flower pots.
