 How much does it cost to maintain pool in Merida? Hello
We are thinking of buying a house with a pool on a backyard. How much does it cost to maintain it and what would be an electric bill?

You can maintain it yourself for a minimal cost; I think it will cost you between $5 to $10 a week for chemicals (For an average size pool). Electricity cost (1 pump/3hours a day) about $ 20 monthly. Pool services cost around $ 40 /month.

Re: How much does it cost to maintain pool in Merida? I would say that a pool takes more time than money to maintain. And if you don't put in the time to clean it and keep the water balanced, then it can cost more to get the water adjusted and clean the algae or other growth on the walls and bottom from the unbalanced water. Of course, if you have the money, you could always pay a pool cleaner to maintain your pool.
