How many light bulbs per 20 amps breaker ?
Hi I am looking to hook up 12 flood bulbs to one cable coming from the electric box. That shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Re: How many light bulbs per 20 amps breaker ?
If you are using a 20 amp breaker, 100 watt light bulb and 120 volt line, you would use the following. Remember, for safety you will only use 80% of the breaker capacity. 20A x 120v = 2400 watts x 80% = 1920 watts รท 100 watts = 19 bulbs You are OK with 12 bulbs; just make sure to use at least # 14 wires.
